About the area
About West Midtown
West Midtown (also called the Design District) sits just northwest of Midtown, between Howell Mill Road and Marietta Street. It's known for converted warehouses, furniture showrooms, high-end boutiques, and a dining scene that rivals any in Atlanta. It's a neighborhood of creatives, designers, and people who care how things are made — including their burgers.
- West Midtown borders the Upper Westside and The Works, two of Atlanta's most active food corridors.
- It's walkable to adaptive-reuse hangouts like Westside Provisions and is minutes from Georgia Tech.
